Feb 21 - Check out Wheatland Karting Association at the 2012 Park City Chill at the Kansas Pavilions Feb 24, 25, and 26! Del Lamb will have Tanner's kart on display plus some promotional material about the club. Cost to get into the show is $7 on Friday, $12 on Saturday, and $10 on Sunday.

There will be two track work days -- March 31 we will be replacing a drainage pipe in turn 1 and turning the track over. April 21 will be general clean-up and repair day. Please come lend a hand either or both of these days!

A number registration page has been added to the website. We must simplify numbering this year to help out our scorers. Only two-digit numeric character numbers will be allowed. For $10, you may reserve your number for the 2012 season. You are not required to reserve a number, but if your kart in your class has a number that is reserved by someone else, you will need to change it before being allowed on the track. Contact Tony or Carmen Peters to reserve your number, and it will be posted as reserved for your class.

For 2012 -- Helmets meeting Snell M2005 or SA2005 (or later), SFI ratings 24.1 (youth), 31.1, 31.1a, 41.1, 41.1a, or newer specifications required in all classes. DOT specification helmets are not approved. Helmets must be full coverage, full face, and designed solely for motorsports competition. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Feb 14 - Wheatland Karting Association's 2012 race schedule is posted on the Schedule page! Track work day will be announced soon and the 2012 Handbook will be released in the coming week.

REMINDER: Help us build the website! Send us your photos that you take at the races! Either submit them via email to me via the club email address (wheatlandkartingassoc@yahoo.com) or upload them directly to the web server on the Photos page. Please keep the driver profiles coming too; thanks to all that have submitted a profile. If you submit something via the website and it doesn't show up in a few days, please let me know.

Wheatland Karting Association is offering for sale the Maxxis SKKS shirts and hoodies shown below! All proceeds go back directly to the club. They feature the SKKS series and list our three partner tracks on the back. Please show your support for Wheatland Karting and the SKKS!
